"Consider this my resignation" Lucas spoke softly.
He turned away from the still form of DS Lewis and knelt back down beside his brother. He leant forward and gave his brother a gentle kiss on the forehead before resting his own head briefly on his brother's chest. As he took a deep breath a small flash of silver caught his eye: his brother's silver cross and chain.
Gently he removed the cross and placed it around his own neck before turning and walking from the bloody scene, his footsteps growing quieter into the distance until there were no sounds left in the station.

The light from the ceiling in the distance back and forth, the light so bright, pointed directly at me, causing me to squint. I could barely see, my vision was blurry. He says Then I felt a small kiss on my check and whisper in my ear, "You're mine. You're stuck with me forever." I felt sharp pain in my arm causing me to groan in pain. And with the sound of his footsteps echoing around in the room. I heard the high pitch sound of mental door creaking and the door slam shut.
