So five years into the abyssal war, Japan has been the only country so far to utilize their ship girls, the souls of past warships, properly out on open water. You would think America would too, but they don't even know how Japan summons them. That kind of changes when fourteen year old Avelina Colorana finds a woman in the water near a certain memorial. This opens up a question to nearly all of the people in the military.
Why in the world are there ship girls answering the call from a young girl?

All the while, the slab of metal that will pound you into fleshy nothing may have already begun its course.... P.S. The story will mostly be sticking to SR and UR ships with the exception of some other ones. There are simply too many to include so it needs to be limited in some sort of fashion. I should also mention that not every girl who appears in the story will be a part of the harem. Some are there to give the setting more life, if that makes sense. Another thing: it will be in first person. That is simply my preference when it comes to writing as I enjoy working with the limited first person POV
