The burden of being the Chosen One of your world's greatest prophecy is hard to bear - especially if you have to make it alone. We've watched two boys from different worlds go through immense hardship and uncertainty to make huge sacrifices for the people they love. What if, the whole time, the two protagonists were in secret communication, bound to take their secret to their seventeenth birthdays? Imagine Harry writing letters to Camp Half-Blood, and Percy sharing dreams at Hogwarts - imagine what they'd say to each other.

[1] New Beginnings: WARNING!! Story is technically complete but I started editing literally years ago then never finished so the beginning's a little funky! Percy Jackson was adopted at the age of seven by the nastiest family in the world: the Dursleys. He met Harry Potter, the most wonderful person in the entire universe, that same day. Though completely unrelated, the boys were nearly identical, a connection forming between them that would last years to come. The pair would go through life as brothers in everything but blood. Connected at the hip, these seemingly average boys had much more in store for them than they could ever imagine. A note: Percy Jackson doesn't discover anything about the demigod side of his universe until later in the second book. Just a warning. If that's too slow for you, don't read. [2] Diverging Paths: Perseus Jackson, also known as Percy, left his first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry feeling happy and confident that he had actual friends. However, that was before they seemed to forget all about him. He at least had his brother, Harry Potter, but he too had gotten no letters from their friends. Then one day a small creature wearing a pillowcase showed up in their shared bedroom and told them that they absolutely, positively could not go back to school under any circumstance. Of course, the small creature wearing a pillowcase was resolutely ignored and they went back to school to start their second year anyway. Then things started to go wonky, what with all the strange voices and massive spiders. But then things got even stranger.
