The burden of being the Chosen One of your world's greatest prophecy is hard to bear - especially if you have to make it alone. We've watched two boys from different worlds go through immense hardship and uncertainty to make huge sacrifices for the people they love. Harry and Percy had no one to ask for advice, no one who'd gone before them - or so we thought.

Percy Jackson was adopted at the age of seven by the nastiest family in the world: the Dursleys. He met Harry Potter, the most wonderful person in the entire universe, that same day. Though completely unrelated, the boys were nearly identical, a connection forming between them that would last years to come. The pair would go through life as brothers in everything but blood. Connected at the hip, these seemingly average boys had much more in store for them than they could ever imagine. A note: Percy Jackson doesn't discover anything about the demigod side of his universe until later in the second book. Just a warning. If that's too slow for you, don't read.
