This (no longer) short story is from a teenage girl's perspective of the new world she lives in. This world is not unlike yours. In fact it's almost exactly the same only President Trump has no authority any more, along with a great many of other politicians, technology has come to a grinding halt, and slavery is back. This is the earth in the future. Enjoy! Oh, this short story does contain swearing and apocalyptic scenarios. (Let's just say if it were a movie, it would be rated PG-13 so far.) TEASER: I sit comfortably in my makeshift shelter, planning my next voyage to the surface. Faint footsteps above ground snap me out of my thought. I silently reached to my loaded gun, an SKO Shorty, and carefully pulled back the hammer. I silently crept up the unstable metal stairs, aiming my gun at the door at the top. The heavy metal door creaked. Something was behind it. The door pushes open to reveal a man. A human. He slowly reaches into his pocket and pulls out a crinkled yellow paper. I grab the note, while lowering my gun. I look up only to find the man gone. I unfold the paper. It's hard to make out the words in red ink with the dim lighting of the sewer tunnel. Eventually, I'm able to decipher, "34.0522' N, 118.2437' W". Coordinates. At the bottom of the note, scribbled out in black in, there's one phrase. "Code: 213" *Please note this story includes graphic depictions of blood and violence. This story may not be suitable for all audiences.

Have you ever had one of those terrible yet annoyingly pivotal moments? You know, that monumental fragment of time that flips everything you have ever known. That plot twist second that completely takes you by surprise. The one just before the storm hits and everything goes to hell. Yes? Because you see, that moment happens to be my whole damn life. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled. So Fate was like, "Don't worry, I'll save you. Here's a chance to live" and then was like "psyche, screw you. You're still going to die but I'll let you suffer a little first." So now, if only to annoy Fate by proving it wrong, I am determined to survive. I can and I will if I play by these simple rules: 1) Befriend Heroin 2) Avoid Aryn Edwards at All Costs as well as other capture targets And 3) Be the top student at the academy and become an invaluable asset to my Kingdom so I become indispensable, thus unkillable. I'm determined, stubborn, persistent and I will live passed 16. Fate made a big mistake setting me up to die. Since it threw this plot twist at me, I figure I'll return the favor. I'll be the biggest plot twist Fate never saw coming...

Well welcome to my life. What did I forget? Oh you know, my name, my identity and just this small thing called the apocalypse. Mara doesn't remember anything besides waking up in a car that's been flipped over. When she emerges from the crash, she tries to find anyone who can help her get medical attention. Only the first person she sees isn't even an actual person, it's one of the undead. How are you supposed to survive when you don't remember anything? Who are you supposed to trust? Where do you go?

That's all great, but when Ramon Juarez, a Mexican-American man who immigrated to America years before is caught in the middle of a family crisis that presents certain legal problems in this new, outlandish world, he'll have to break some laws and team up with a couple of dorks to save the day. Inspired by the Trump Craze of the recent months, this is a political comedy, intended to be as uncompromisingly funny as humanly possible. I'm in ninth grade and, at 33 pages long, this is my first story ever. I originally wrote it for the holidays late last year on Google Docs, but my family, friends, and peers loved it, so I figured I'd share it online. Enjoy! All I wanted to do was hide away on my ranch with no one to bother me, but apparently, they had different plans. Luckily for them, this was not my first zombie apocalypse. If they learn to listen, we might just get out of this with our lives. If not, maybe I would finally be able to rest in peace. Li Dai Lu was born and raised Canadian in her first life. This meant that she was taught how to share, how to put others first and to keep the peace as much as she could. However, that all backfired in a spectacular way. Reborn in a new time and place, Li Dai Lu did her best to protect all those that she could from the zombies that were wiping out the human race. Unfortunately for her, those she rescued were not as grateful as they should have been. Killed by the very people she saved, she held her breath and waited for the calm, peacefulness of death. But the Fates were not too accommodating and our heroine woke up in her third life, a year before the zombie apocalypse. This time she would live life on her own terms, and to those that disagreed... well, she would have a few words for them. With four men at her side, she will shed the cloak of civility and become who she was truly meant to be. WARNING!!! This will turn into a Reverse Harem. Mature Content and Vulgar Language on board, and Rage Bait at the start.
