Salt and Iron

Shifter tribes are dangerous. Leo's chosen to research them in spite of the danger. A year ago, Leo's luck ran out when he was captured by Blackhoof tribe. Now he's left with a brand on his back and an overwhelming need for retribution.

When Orion Graypelt enters the Magical Minorities branch, Leo's interested. When Orion Graypelt tells him that Blackhoof is carrying out attacks on innocents to this day, Leo knows what he has to do. Faced with a boss that'd rather keep him in the office, a partner worried about his safety, and a shifter chief unimpressed with humans, Leo must carry out his research...and accomplish his own goal--take down Blackhoof.
