I'm Nate Higen. I'm a killer, a thief, a bandit. And now I'm entrusted with a nine year olds life... I was in a group of bandits until now, not out of desire to do wrong but out of desire to survive in this harsh world - for almost a year creatures with a taste for flesh have been roaming and civilization has fallen apart.
But right now my priority is to get this little girl to a military camp up in Washington - I don't know how someone so young will handle this harrowing journey but I will do everything I can to ensure we make it. But the thing is, those creatures? They're are the least of our problems...

Not The Last {Rough Draft}
~Thank you for the continued love for this series! I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Now let me add in something else. I'm wanted by the CIA for reasons that I don't even know, but I guess I will find out eventually. Maybe somewhere within my story I will figure it out. Each episode is 1 chapter, so chapter length will depend on the episode length, and also how much of that episode I can add my OC into. All chapters will be atleast 2000 words, but some may be much more than that. My OC becomes the adopted child of Maggie and glenn. Just thought I'd put that out there before anyone is wishing for a daryl daughter kinda situation. Love him but it's overdone. Sorry.
