Riley Fray grew up in the Shadow World-trained in secret by her mother, battling demons alongside Alec, Isabelle, and Jace. Meanwhile, her younger sister Clary lived a normal, mundane life, unaware of everything lurking beneath the surface. Jocelyn made Riley promise: Clary must never know.
