The Valencia Carnival arrived in mid winter. It's a melting pot of illusions and mystery, and in the center of it all is a demonic source that no one truly understands. The only one who can truly see the hearts of the workers is a 17 year old boy who believes he is the epitome of average, when he truly isn't. So what happens? Well, I wouldn't want to spoil the story. Why don't you step right up to Valencia?

A few name pronunciations are difficult, so I'll list them here.

Odeie, pronounced Oh day ee.
Naja, pronounced Nazha.
Charani, pronounced Sharahnee.

"that's rich coming from a pretty boy" I narrow my eyes. "I'm not a pretty boy." He smirks standing from the desk and reaching forward twirling a piece of my hair between his fingers. "not in the traditional sense no...but you still bleed daddy's money" I reach up gripping his wrist, maybe harder then necessary; suddenly angry. "you don't know me Jasper, don't pretend you do" He sucks in a breath before leaning forward and putting his mouth next to my ear "I know you're so desperate for me, you can't fucking think straight" My breath catches and my eyes flick up meeting his not believing I heard what I did, but there's no denying it when he pushes me against his door and his lips meet my own hungry, angry, frustrated. ••• Jasper Collins is not expecting to ever step foot inside Balton's Boys School. He could care less about status and social image he just wants to find a way out of Manning Heights and Balton's was supposed to be his safe haven until then. "I love watching the clouds," I say as I breathe in the fresh air starting up at the bright sky with white fluffy clouds painted on it. "Why?" Adrian asked smirking as he swung his legs over the wall to sit beside me. "I just love how they drift across the sky, sought of how people drift across the world, always changing never just staying the same." "That's so poetic," he was still smirking which made me wonder whether he was being sarcastic or not. "Look over there," he pointed up at the sky. I glanced over in the direction to see he was pointing at a heart shaped cloud in the sky. He grinned, "I bet a cloud watching expert would tell you that means we're destined to be together." I punch his shoulder laughing, "In your dreams rich boy," - Hazel is just your regular 18 teen year old who's trying to get by in life after having a rough childhood.
