Richard James Reyes unwillingly helped in a cover-up, alright. But he was double-crossed at the last minute when the 'shit hit the fan'.

He became the fall guy, got terminated from his post as a senior consultant for wrongful act unbecoming of a public accountant and auditor. He appealed the case at NLRC but lost the case without the benefit of a single appearance. It seems the firm sent one of the big guns to handle the case.

So he lost the appeal and his reputation down with it. A criminal case is now staring him in the face if he doesn't act fast.
