Anybody Jordan loves gets hurt. He believes he is a curse to everyone he meets and that's why he pushes himself away from anyone who tries to get close to him. He isolates himself, becomes a loner and tries so hard to please everyone around him. Especially his parents who might never forgive him for causing his sister's death. He has to keep playing basketball. He's so good at it. He's now well known around the country and scouts are keeping their eyes on him. He's kind of a celebrity now and his parents are loving him more than they ever did. He's relieved. He's doing something right for once. But he doesn't want to play basketball. He wants to take pictures. The beauty of the world draws him in more than anything else has. He wants to capture this beauty through the lens of a camera. This is what he wants to do with his life. Unfortunately, he doesn't dare to think that way. Until he meets Star. A brave, charming, sarcastic, music obsessed girl who steals his heart at first glance. 10 years. 10 years of hating Griffin Taylor. Luckily for me, he lives hundreds of miles away and I very rarely have to handle the knowledge he's in town for his 48 hour visits.
