Mangle Fingers have been turning up all over Portland, Maine and the inhabitants are scared. Ten murders in ten weeks, all committed with a blade, and still nobody has a clue who the malicious killer is.


Detective Forest Jay is a bold and admirable detective. He doesn't know it yet but he is the only one who can stop the greedy killer.



When his daughter, Harriet Jay, is kidnapped, Detective Jay finds himself thrown into the center of the investigation. His only clue is a crumpled note. He enlists the help of a daring doctor called Rhiannon Godfrey.


Can Godfrey help Jay overcome his personal problems and find the answers before the snotty killer and his deadly blade strike again?
