Tōtoi Yanai is heir to the most important clan in the Village Hidden by Stone. The Yanai Clan, better known as "The Clan of Assassins", is a clan of shinobi that are gifted with advanced kyūjustu, or Bow Techniques. With their tremendous farsighted vision and enhanced hearing ranges, they are known for never missing a target and protecting their home under the wing of the Tsuchikage for generations. Though, on one fateful day, they failed to do just that. 

When a certain terroristic psychopath betrays the village by blowing it up and joining an S-Rank criminal group known as "The Akatsuki", the Yanai Clan has no choice but to eliminate him. In order to succeed, they need a sacrifice, and Lady Tōtoi is their only option. 

How will Tōtoi, merely ten years old when it all begins, juggle fighting her siblings for the throne while also carrying one of the biggest burdens of mankind?
