This is a book I started for my creative writing class in college... I'm working on finishing it but wanted to try out this site and get some feedback! This story is about a young boy named Koran who loses his family and is hired as a bodyguard (called a "hired sword" in the book) by a man with a big belly and a big mouth. They spend the night in a town not far from the Castle, and Koran wakes up to the town under siege and must save himself and his companion. Koran's skills are put to the test both with a sword and with talking to a girl, and he learns a horrible truth that starts him on his journey. Let me know what you think!

!Original story and original characters! An assassin, Verena Cliffwood, is hired by the king to kill a man, Lucian Bryonhill. She takes the job for a large sum of gold. She finds out that Lucian is the kingdom's hero, everything thinks of him as a savior. This was going to be a lot harder than she thought, but she would not quit. They meet, and Lucian is more charming than Verena expected. That annoyed her. A lot. Maybe Lucian would be very hard to kill, but not for the reasons she thought. She didn't know if she could bring herself to kill him. The king was not happy about that. Will Verena finish off Lucian? Will Lucian be forced to fight back? Or will they both get their happy endings? This is an actual book that I am writing and I just thought that I should put it here and see what people think of it. COMPLETED BOOK I was trained to be a weapon for the kingdom. I was forced into servitude to the King after my family was ripped from me. The Dragon and the Princess
You all know the old fairy-tale's where an evil and cruel dragon kidnaps the princess because of her beauty and then knights in shinning armour arrives to save her. After saving her they get the half of the kingdom and marry the princess and lives happily ever after.. But this story is very different... There was once were a beautiful, kind princess named Lydia who got engaged to a prince, but the princess wasn't in love with him at all. One day as she was sleeping peacefully in her bed with her window opened, a dragon named Lithon attacked the kingdom. In it's attack on the kingdom the dragon flew to the castle and was going to destroy it from pure hatred for the royal family, but then he saw the princess through her open window. The dragon fell for her beauty immediately, so he decided to kidnap her, it would also be the perfect revenge on the royal family. So the dragon took the princess to his place, the princess was of course not happy about that and she did freak out. She didn't wanted to live with a dragon! But then, the dragon reached it's house and he changed into a handsome young man! Even though its forbidden for them to be together, the princess slowly fell for the dragon and the dragon fell for her.. but how will this fairy tale end..? like every other, where the prince comes and slay the dragon and gets the girl, or will it be different this time?
