Covenant effect

A Turian patrol encounters the covenant during the height of the human covenant war. Will the citadel be able to stand up against the covenant war machine ? Will humanity be able to trust another coalition of aliens after all they've suffered. The council is about to face war on a scale that they have never imagined, can they adapt in time or will their hubris be the downfall of not only them but of humanity as well.
