Amelia, a young girl just past the age nineteen, has never tried to accomplish anything in life. Her unwillingness to work hard is often pointed out to her by her cousin West, whom acts as her caretaker and boss. With no hoped or dreams, Amelia is inclined to spend the rest of her days moseying about as she's always done, but those plans are put to a halt when a slick cat with a sharp tongue (whom claims to be a prince) asks her for a favour. Magic and Mayhem ensues when that favour turns out to be much more than Amelia bargained for.

They set off on a journey to become some of the most powerful witch and wizard to ever live, in order to defeat a great evil. Along the way, they recruit five other individuals each experienced in a different area of magic. Who will love and who will hate?
