Melissa Walters lives in a small country town with her mother, father, and horse, Maya. Melissa and Maya are a team that can do anything they put their heart to. But when Melissa's father starts changing her family from a "Brady Bunch" family a crumbling relationship, he sends Maya off to Mexico for slaughter to get some cash. Melissa risks her life to save Maya and runs away to hide her, away from her father, so she can still see her everyday. But hiding is much harder than it seems...
