Because Kaia often visits Halley, she and Aleve meet often and Aleve starts to like Kaia because he sees that Kaia has similarities with his dead wife, and he sees that Kaia has the potential to be a mother to Halley because the two are very close to each other. Kaia started to like Aleve but when did the situation settle down bad things happen like when Kaia finds out that Halley's mother was her childhood friend and Warren follows Kaia, he is Kaia's ex-boyfriend and he wants to marry Kaia, But what hurts more is the fact that Kaia has to go back to the city and finish the story she is working on.
