Final Action: USS John C. Stennis CVN-74 (Azur Lane fanfic) by Site_undetected
30 parts Complete
"I know everyone's back story...time to turn it upside down and change them." There's a new debate on the heels of the push to rename U.S. military bases named after confederate leaders -- Should a U.S. aircraft carrier named after a U.S. senator who fought against civil rights be renamed? "He's heralded as the guy who brought social equality at least the beginning of it to the Maritime forces," VanDiver said. Some would argue John C. Stennis deserves having his name on this carrier because he was the first Armed Services Committee Chair. But VanDiver agreed with Green that it's time the military considers removing confederate names from military bases and facilities, and Navy ships where VanDiver said people of all races serve to keep all Americans safe. Green compared the legacy of Stennis to that of Admiral Elmo Zumwalt, who also has a Navy ship named after him, a ship that is homeported in San Diego. The problem with the Stennis name is not simply that it honors a dedicated white supremacist and defender of segregation; it is that few outside the United States (and indeed, few within the US) have any idea who Stennis was. USS John C. Stennis is expected to be refueled, renamed, and overhauled, but suddenly, while being in a port, disappears without just one trace. Though he is transported, he is to help others liberate another world, will he succeed? [LANGUAGE ADVISORY ACTIVE] !the description from final fleet is the same here, look at it and think of it here. But just in case you need it, then here. Some parts of this story have different games in them, so watch out for em. System: Activated. Name: USS John C. Stennis. Hull number: CVN-74. Date: March 10, 2022. Current date: ??? ??? 1943. Objective: Turn the tides of war. Special weaponry: Authorized. [SIDE NOTE: I DO NOT OWN MOST OF THE STORYLINE OF AZUR LANE.
