The man on his throne in the space between leaned in, peering into the endless see of stories that he could watch unfold. He had not been here long. He had only just started his vigil, and as he searched through the endless pinpricks of light that were the stories of all that could be told, he found his gaze drawn inexorably towards one light. When he focused in on the story before him he witnessed things he had never imagined before. Flames darker than night, power beyond imagining and beings so powerful that even he shivered at the thought of them becoming aware of his presence. He nodded to himself as he leaned back into his throne and for the first time ever he allowed a story to flow through him.

From the first page, you know this isn't just another story. But here's the thing - I'm not going to tell you why. Some books deserve to be experienced with fresh eyes, untainted by expectations, predictions, or well-meaning reviews. This is one of them. What I will say is this: Clear your schedule. Silence your phone. Find a comfortable spot where no one will disturb you. Then open to page one and let yourself fall. You'll know within the first chapter if this book is for you. If it is, you'll thank me later for not saying more. If it isn't... well, at least I didn't waste your time with false promises. For those brave enough to dive into uncharted waters - for readers who still believe in the pure magic of discovery - this book awaits. Just remember: once you start, there's no turning back.
