I'm a college student and I'm currently writing out the novel as a rough draft. There will be major editing when I finish and even story elements may change. Currently, my system/martial arts/cultivation and stuff may appear to be a jumble with rankings and things. If anyone sees any problems or contradictions in my story please point them out. Never in my life did I ever think I'd be reincarnated. As far as I'm aware, being able to reincarnate means being good in your previous life, and being given a chance to restart your life anew. Although I don't consider myself particularly good, I'm not bad either. I simply existed somewhere in between. Regardless, I never expected to wake up inside a fantasy novel! And not just any novel, but a "dark romance", as my sister would call it. The kind with an obsessive male lead willing to go to any lengths to protect his delicate, soft-spoken heroine. Even if it meant murder. I had read the story before, and yes, it was undeniably cliché. But now, I find myself trapped within said story, cast as the villain, destined to meet my end at the hands of the possessive, and dangerously unhinged male lead. I can't tell if this world despises me or if it's offering me a twisted kind of opportunity. But one thing is for certain: I have to survive. And I need to find a way out. I've always been a fan of progression fantasy. However, I do feel disappointed by many of them, with too many characters that vanish into irrelevancy, sometimes arcs that are overly repetitive and a lack of characters ideals. In this story, I aim to instill more character ideals, motivations, and integrate said characters throughout the story, and ensure their interaction with the main character remain relevant to his heart. Perhaps, it's best to say I want the story to have a 'human spirit' that one could feel in old-school wuxia and action/adventure stories.

I don't know if I died or not, but the moment I regained my consciousness, I was already standing on a field full of grass and surrounded by trees. "W-what is that...?" A screen was floating in front of me. 「 Welcome, new adventurer! 」 "Adventur...rer?" But..... I'm so small! My body is the size of a 9 year old kid! And I don't even know what the hell happened to me. After I read some information on the screen, I was amazed that the world I was in was like a VRMMORPG. Magic exists and so does the level. "Huh?" When I look at my status, I'm not neither a mage that cast magic nor a swordsman that wields a sword, instead.... I'm a puppeteer!
