Faye has been living in a world poisoned by an incurable illness; T.F.B - Thirst for Blood - which causes the infected to become more violent to an uncontrollable level and the older the infected, the worse the affects. The known about this illness is very little, what is certain that it is a mentally disease cause by an unknown reason that is spread by an unknown cause, which causes the victim of the illness to thirst for the sight of blood - hence the name - And if they don't cause it to become, they into a type of insanity mind set, becoming so enraged, and extremely violent. So how in Faye's broken world would she find the courage to fall in love with Alexander, a boy infected with the same destroyed that destroy her life.
