Alyssa Mendoza is a struggling college theater actress only known for her infamous 'Bestfriend' roles. On her third year, she vowed to herself she would finally get rid of the title and prove to everyone she is more than just a supporting character to everybody's success stories. Her ticket to a breakout role? Juliet, the love-struck 13-year old lover of the dead Romeo. She's not a big fan of Shakespeare but she really would rather eat slugs than do a High School Musical stage stint.

Jacob Ocampo is a happy-go-lucky 'new' college theater actor who became the campus equivalent of John Lloyd Cruz overnight by playing Pygmalion. He is the stage director favorite to much of the dismay of Alyssa. He is pre-picked to very important characters only Alyssa could hope for and script floods his dressing room. Now, the Pygmalion sees Alyssa and her head-on mission and decided he could entertain himself a little in the boring drama club by interfering. For good or for bad? Nobody knows.

One things for sure though, a friendship was born and Alyssa found herself planning how to get away with friendzone out-stage more than she does on-stage.
