Audrey has a crush on this guy called Hayden Johnson, it's pretty normal to crush on a guy in highschool but for her it's different because he is white and she is black. Almost 75% of the population in their school is against interracial relationship .Actually they aren't against it,they just find it weird, so they judge if you like someone from the opposite race. Which explains why there is no interracial relationships in their school.
Hayden knows that Audrey has a massive crush on him because he noticed how she'd act different around him and well let's say her friends also exposed her!Hayden is okay with the whole situation and he never gave her the Death stare that white guys in their school would give to the black girls who like them, instead he smiles at her and blushes every time her name is mentioned.
The question circling Audrey's mind is "Does Hayden like me back?!"
