Victoria Cardoso is an optimistic and independent Publisher from Colorado. She feels as though her life is going nowhere until she moves back home and reunites with an old love interest, Shawn Collins, a tall muscular man who Victoria used to go to high school with.

Victoria immediately takes a disliking to his new personality and the person he has become. 

However, when Victoria goes through a really tough break up he is extremely caring towards her. She begins to notice that the innocent and caring Shawn is still there.

But, the pressures of Shawn's job as a football player leave him blind to Victoria's affections. Causing her to break down and falls behind in her job and her life in general.
