When Elsa and Jack were little he accidentally found out that she had magic. He helped Elsa when no one else was there for her. Over the next eight years they became best friends, although Elsa came to care for Jack more deeply than a friend. On Jack's 17th birthday an accident leading to a tragic death will push Elsa to the edge of breaking point, and turns her life to ruins.
Two years later someone returns. But he can't remember anything about his past or who he is. In the process of remembering and dealing with the changes caused by the accident, can he save Elsa before she destroys herself? Or will their love story become cold just like them?
