'i think i'll miss you forever, like the stars miss the sun in the morning sky'
mingyu's an eighteen year old small town boy with big dreams, he wants to be somebody and not just anybody. when a quiet cute male with big round glasses and messy hair joins his art class in college, he's hit by a rush of emotions and there's nothing that can stop this feeling. he'd always been slightly different to what his parents expected him to turn out like, arty, curious of the world around him and interested in boys instead of girls.
wonwoo's life went downhill when his parents left, his parents left because his dad didn't want him anymore, they went on a cruise somewhere in spain and left wonwoo all on his own.
his depression swelled up again and hit him like a big double decker school bus. his body was like an oyster, but somebody had already taken the shining pearl out of him and that somebody was his controlling, homophobic, racist father. he was left with an empty sad body with nothing but the little strength of his bones keeping him standing.
his life aspiration is to be an artist, and after wonwoo luckily gets in to the college of his dreams, his attention starts focusing on something completely different. he had originally hoped not to draw any attention to himself, but once again, he failed. this pretty, dark boy sitting opposite to him in art class, just kept looking. he wonders why he's so intrigued?
