Hello! This is actually my first time writing a fanfiction. After reading what seemed like all of the saiouma fanfictions I really wanted to write my own! I'm very likely going to update every week but firstly I'm going to have to plan to make this the best it could be so I apologise if I don't update! I hope you enjoy (I also thought that I should mention this won't have anything explicit in it except for perhaps death ).

Love is unpredictable. It can strike at any moment in any situation. That's what they say. Those who walk with fingers laced together without a care in the world. Yet due to this there is no knowing whether it is merely a crush which will last only during these few heartbeats or if it's something that will slowly escalate into a problem.
But I, the ultimate detective, will find out. I will find out why it began with winter.

Discontinued because I am extremely upset with myself for writing this and thinking it would be funny. It has really f*cked stuff in it and I would not feel good about myself at all if I didn't say this before hand. You're welcome to read, but I am unbelievably unproud and disgusted with it. .... The relationship between Ouma and Saihara is very toxic and ab*sive and I'm sorry for writing that... .... Basically, you'll find out the plot as you read along, but the story begins with Saihara being a stripper at a gay club. There are humorous touches to this story, so most things aren't serious, but sometimes they will be. .... TRIGGER WARNINGS - adult themes- not safe for work scenes, bad language, slurs (for example f*g (I'm gay tho so I think it's ok for me to say it)), sexual/physical/mental/verbal/etc. abuse, and very weird things that I initially wrote as "comedy". .... If you're reading this/deciding to, my only question is why would you physically put yourself through my torture? But hey, it's fine. .... And I don't think anything in this story is okay with the themes I use, this is a story and not real life, meaning I don't condone anything that happens. This is a Saiouma (or Oumasai if you prefer that ship name) fanfiction. I'm sure that much was obvious, though. This will have smut, angst, and fluff. A Slight Obsession
People often say things happen due to fate or destiny, others say it's just coincidence, while some claim it's due to someone, or something, causing it to happen. Until recently, Y/N just lived their life peacefully, moving every so often due to their parents work. They tried not to get attached to anyone so they wouldn't end up hurt, or hurting someone else once they move again. After meeting certain people though, will they have to move so often? Would they even be able to? ~~~ Alrighty, hello there readers! Not sure why you're here, but if you enjoy this story, then you got bad taste, ngl. Sorry not sorry. Anyways, I'm not 100% sure where I'm going with this story but eh. The updates will be extremely random, hope you're all are okay with that. I'm mostly going to go around the main storyline with... slight changes? I just hope I don't make it anymore confusing than it already is. QUICK NOTE PLEASE READ L will be slightly aged down, I don't feel comfortable writing Y/N as an 18 year old and L as a 24-25 year old with romantic feelings for said 18 year old. L will instead be 20 since that would work out better for the story. Near will not be a love interest, he will be more of a younger brother figure, and Mello will have more of an admiration for Y/N, like a kid crushing on a celebrity sorta thing. I'm gonna try and make this sorta slowburny, but with my writing style, I'm sure that won't be an issue. I'm also gonna try to keep this as gender neutral as possible, so please let me know if I've accidentally used the wrong pronouns or something throughout the story!! WARNING: in this story you are depressed and have social anxiety. it sucks in reality (ik from experience) but I have some ideas on how to use these to a romantic fan girl advantage. ;). in this story you don't have any powers (sorry) but you are really strong and independent. you also have a pair of twin katanas that you carry around with you everywhere. your parent shipped you away for the summer. a town is visible from the small plane window. surrounded by a forested area it seemed pretty secluded. it might not be such a crappy summer vacation after all. I was really glad when I managed to get my katanas trough airport security too. I might have some time to practice. the weird sensation of someone following you snapped you back to reality. when you saw that no on was behind you calmed down and went back to planning how to not make the summer suck but for the rest of the day, you knew, someone was definitely following you.Complete
