Long before time, in this legend, magic had covered the world. It was an art most priests and rulers had believed in. Most of civilization had used it for ceremonies or birthday's or when a new ruler was made to come.
Magic had been legal for hundreds of years all until one man was made new ruler, George Washington. He had banned magic across what is now the USA but what was then, middle earth. After him, more people agreed and they made up the electing system, making others 'president' and forgetting about the tradition that had existed. They wept out ALL mages or Druids. Like the Nazi's, they searched houses and buildings for them and executing those who hid them.
After years and years, they were so sure that they were done. It all stopped, people no longer believed in the religion. Those still did secretly believe in it, I mean come on, it was okay as long as no one knew.
About two or three years later, a baby was born. Her name was Veleikrah, or Kria. A special baby indeed, she had a birthmark in the shape of a Celtic symbol, the Triskele. When finding out, they could not keep her. Most with the Triskele were ones born with, Magic. They ran. They ran and ran until they came across an old shack, which, with some work, could become an 'okay' home for three. She grew up strong, learning more and more about the Triskele and what her people went through, she had always stayed home. All until one particular hunting trip.
I made up the legend, of course! I just thought it would be a cool twist, and so this is what I came up with :D
