(Disclaimer: I don't own Halo 5 or RWBY.) What if Jaune was presumably killed during a mission after most of the student body, except teams RWBY and JNPR, turned on him after Cardin revealed his forged transcripts, only to be saved by the UNSC and made into a Spartan? (I'd also like to know if any of you guys could make some fan art for this series. I'd do it myself, but I'm not that good at art in general.)

Despite saving Cardin from an Ursa, he still exposed the truth about Jaune's transcripts. His friends and family abandoned him. Most of the students made his life a living hell. Some just ignored him like he wasn't even there. Most of the professors wanted him expelled. The only ones who helped him was Ozpin, Team CFVY, and a few people in Vale. One day, Jaune decides to go into the Emerald Forest to train. During his training, he is chased by a pack of Beowulves. From their chase, Jaune discovers something that will change his life forever. Here, Jaune's Transcripts we're revealed, he was betrayed, bullied, and shunned by everyone here in Beacon, even his own Friends didn't support him. Well, maybe except for one. And when Jaune was to be expelled, we see many Universes where his Team don't support him, but here, they do. Team JNPR left Beacon and decided to forge their own Path, without the need of Beacon, and the Path they took, took them to the Stars.
