At McKinley, reputation was everything. If you weren't popular you were nothing.

Being a Cheerio was the epitome of popular, and being at the top of the pyramid was being the queen of the school. That was Winnie Cortez, well on her way to being captain in a few years, somewhat relationship with a football player, and all around cool person.

Except, she was in glee club, and being in glee club makes you a geek.

Winnie however, wasn't too concerned with her reputation, and more concerned with her scholarship. Being on cheerios meant a cheerleading scholarship, and being in glee club was something she loved.

But with a never-ending battle between the heads of cheerios and glee, it was hard to navigate which paths to choose. Especially when relationships always seem to get in the way.
