Jessie Rene is a freshman in college. She doesn't have her life planned out like everyone else and she's okay with that. J is just going with the flow, going wherever life takes her. Ironically, life takes her to the sophomore Danny Scott, who happens to be an amazing basketball star.

Danny has his life planned out. He's going to be a professional basketball player. Basketball is his life, he's played the game since he was able to walk. But when Danny has a terrible incident with a stroke, Danny's basketball dream gets flushed down the toilet, along with his ability to move and feel his whole left side.

Throughout Danny's recovery, Danny's friends begin to show their true colors, including his girlfriend who shatters his heart the day he wakes up. Danny's life goes down the drain just like everything else.

Everything except Jessie Rene. J sticks by Danny's side, even when he pushes her away. J's true colors continue to shine brightly, just like they did the first time they met.

J helps Danny recover and get his feet back on the court before his basketball career is officially gone. And along with Danny's inspiration story, he finds love with the girl who became his best friend within record time.

32 parts Complete

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION. Love is a chemical reaction. When Jordan Hughes arrives at Pinecrest High School, Elliot Goldman's graduating year suddenly gets a lot more interesting. Smart, good looking and charming, Jordan isn't exactly the kind of person Elliot's used to having as a lab partner. But when they start acing their assignments, life is suddenly about more than boring lectures, bad cafeteria nachos, or relentless bullying, and for the first time ever, Elliot can't wait to get to chemistry class. As they start spending more time together outside of school, Elliot realizes he's never met anyone quite like Jordan. And then everything changes one night when Jordan kisses him, making Elliot question everything about their relationship and about himself. The butterflies start to make sense-the trouble is, right now, nothing else does. Love was the last thing on Elliot's mind. But as he begins to figure out how he really feels about Jordan, he realizes that sometimes the last thing you are looking for is the one thing you need the most.
