I have lived my 16 years of life hiding in the shadows, afraid of attention and afraid of showing my true self. I mean, it would be obvious why if you saw what I looked like. Being 20kg heavier than the average and just an all round plain Jane isn't standing out material. So when I finally get my act together, I have the chance to start over. To create a new life for myself. And honestly, its about time I started living for me.

"Just talk to me, goddamnit! What happened?! What did I do?!" I stare Lachie in his emotionless eyes as he takes a threatening step forward.
"You want to know what's going on? How about the fact that you refuse to let me in or accept what is going on between us?" He replies in a deathly calm tone.
Standing my ground whilst he continues towards me, I try act confident when I know he's right.
"How about the fact that you run back to Andrews every time that you are scared for what you're feeling?"
I go to say something, anything at this point, to lessen the feelings of not only regret, but desire. Just as I open my mouth Lachie gently grabs my chin and rests his thumb over my lips.
"Or how about the fact that no matter how hard I try, I can't help but feel the same?"
And before I know it, his lips are on mine.
