[Highest ranking in Adventure #712] How far are you willing to go to keep your family safe? Golden Hills boarding school is a glorified prison facility designed to keep petulant children of the rich for a maximum of 3 to 6 years when they can work on their general intelligence, skills, manners and most of all be kept safe from threats of the real world. Kya Toure is one of the few students at Golden Hills who is not there because of a history of bad behavior and she intends to keep it that way. However, her plan to pass through the system unscathed is turned on its head when she has no other choice but to spy on another student to prevent her family's reputation from taking a nosedive. With her keen eye for details, super powers of being a wallflower and curiosity that could possibly get her killed, keeping an eye on one person shouldn't be so hard unless that person is the most notorious student to have ever been thrown into Golden Hills. This makes the job so much harder than she could have anticipated. In the process of merging her life as a wallflower with that of being a spyglass, Kya is constantly reminded that no one ever said it was going to be easy.

Magenta Davies and Blue Harrison have been frenemies from day one, and everybody knows it. At Oakstone Academy, there are many things the students can and cannot do, but there is only one golden rule. No fighting. Not physically, nor verbally. But ever since Blue pushed Magenta in the pool, a full war broke out between them. Nothing could stop them from wiggling their way around the golden rule and watchful eyes. From small pranks to large scale humiliation, the two of them are experts at battling each other. Neither of them is willing to give in, until the other one drops out. And they both know there's no chance either will give up. But their junior year of high school, things begin to change. For better or worse, Magenta and Blue are about to find out. As they say, there's a thin line between love and hate.
