The man roughly grabbed my arm making me wince, and I turned my head to face Genesis, Lyric, and Seven. They were staring at the man with pure hatred, willing to launch themselves at him if he did anything to me.

"Most people don't know this symbol my dear, but oh I do."

He cackled, turning my arm over to reveal my water elemental tattoo. My mate thrashed around in his chains, growling and snarling at the man. All I could do was glare at the stranger, and he smirked, before shoving an iron needle into my chest.

My world went black.
