Peach McCoy It's fun to dance with the devil until he drops you during a leap. At first, I'd thought this devil was none other than the Don of the Russian Bratva, Viktor Makarovich. He was hunting me down for hacking into his mafia's secret network and knowing a little too much about his little illegal fraternity. He caught me, I escaped and this was the dance I thought would get me killed but someone wants us both dead now. The beat of the music has changed and we have to dance together and not against each other if we want to find the guilty party and be alive to tell the tale. There's something about Viktor that lights a spark in me I thought was long gone. The thing is, what I wish we could have cannot happen while we move to what might be the end of our song. I'm smart and I can figure out how to hack into anything I want but for some reason... I only want to know The Code To A Don's Heart. Viktor Makarovich I was just supposed to track down a hacker. It was my way to get away from the Bratva for a while because since my dad and older brother were dead, the mafia was mine. I didn't want it. I just wanted to hunt, kill and protect under someone else's rule but... things have changed. The woman I thought I was going to kill somehow became my only accomplice. Someone wants me- us- dead and I'm sure I know who but the deeper I dig into the affairs of what is now my Bratva, the more unsure I become. The connection I feel to Peach isn't helping. For the first time in what seems like forever, I'm more focused on keeping her alive than myself. She challenges me, pushes me to my limits and being around her is more of a high than I've ever felt on a hunt. Sofia Orsini always adored the stories her mother used to tell her. Fairy tales about princesses, princes and the knight in shining armour that would swoop in save the day slaying the villain. Growing up in a poor neighbourhood outside of Venice Italy, both of Sofia's parents worked around the clock to give her the life she deserved. As she grew up she slowly learned that no prince was coming to save her, and she had to save herself. Using everything she had she boarded a plane and landed in NYC to pursue her passion career. But going to law school has a high price tag, so when her tuition bill comes due and she's short, she preservers. Fall in love with an assassin
My heart was still beating. I thought I would have died the same day; under the debris of my car covered in blood, my hand locked into hers... Instead no! I was still alive maybe because my devilish side was stronger than my mortal one, or maybe because hell wasn't ready to welcome me yet. I had experienced death a thousand times, and I had always overcome it. Even now, I felt as if I had once again experienced the icy flames of hell. I didn't remember immediately what had happened, but slowly I put the pieces together in my mind, and everything was clear. The infection by now had spread throughout my body, and I had taken control of my mortal side confusing and inebriating myself. My story is written in blood. I think I will never be forgiven for what I did because I, for first, can't forgive myself. I'm sure you think I'm a disgusting person; a psycho killer. And you are right because I am this kind of person and even more. But everything I have done has brought me to a crossroad between hell and paradise, and now I know for sure which path I want to take. Don't judge me; just listen. My story doesn't certainly narrate pity and compassion, but now I know how little of my past belongs to me. Rasmus was shocked when he saw me and it was as if he saw a ghost. Fuck! Why did you do this to me! You said you didn't have a relationship with her but now it's clear to me!
