Cora Roberts is pretty normal. She just finished high school, she listens to music, she daydreams, she has a best friend obsessed with a musician, but her past isn't as full of rainbows as she would like. So what happens when several chance encounters with someone she was never supposed to meet, changes her outlook on life? And what can she do when a once literal ghost from her past resurfaces in front of her, but with no intention of revealing his presence to her.

Theo Archer is that guy. The one every guy wants to be, and every girl wants. He can sing, he can play the piano, he's rich, he's famous, he's hot. How was he supposed to know that the contest that he never even agreed to and didn't want could be one of the best things that's ever happened to him? And then what of him and his best friend who do their best to keep a secret, but can't keep it from the two new girls who enter their lives?

This is a story of an unlikely couple. A story with a few chance meetings, a little fighting, too many almost kisses, and a not-so-gone boy that find Cora and Theo in a sort-of-adventure that no one (including themselves) expected.
