Book 1 in the Accidentally In Luck trilogy.

"It's just not fair," I said.
"What's not?"
"Your car."
"What about it?" He raised an eyebrow.
"It's brighter than my future."

Cora Roberts is pretty normal. She just finished high school, she listens to music, she daydreams, she has a best friend obsessed with a musician, but her past isn't as full of rainbows as she would like. So what happens when several chance encounters with someone she was never supposed to meet, changes her outlook on life? And what can she do when a once literal ghost from her past resurfaces in front of her, but with no intention of revealing his presence to her.
Theo Archer is that guy. The one every guy wants to be, and every girl wants. He can sing, he can play the piano, he's rich, he's famous, he's hot. How was he supposed to know that the contest that he never even agreed to and didn't want could be one of the best things that's ever happened to him? And then what of him and his best friend who do their best to keep a secret, but can't keep it from the two new girls who enter their lives?
This is a story of an unlikely couple. A story with a few chance meetings, a little fighting, too many almost kisses, and a not-so-gone boy that find Cora and Theo in a sort-of-adventure that no one (including themselves) expected.
Cheesy and cliche beyond measure. Read at your own risk.
Ok, that is all. :)
Warning: This story does contain strong language, mild violence, mild sexuality, and adult themes. This story is rated mature for a reason. (It's not terrible, but it's there.)

Peyton Hills has it all.
She has a perfect life, surrounded by loving and supportive parents who shockingly aren't divorced. She is surrounded by popularity, love and affection. She sits at the popular table at lunch and is nice to everyone- even the nerds.

What happens when something tragic strikes Peyton's parents that has her moving all the way across the country to live in New York with her Aunt and Uncle? Can she handle it all at her new school? Not being popular, being unknown, being teased and forced to start over? Being the new troubled and misunderstood girl?
The once beautiful 17 year old perfect girl turns into the petrified, anxious and mysterious teenager who can't handle anything anymore. Being the lonely girl at the new school; can she find new friends? Or even love?
One boy notices this lonely girl and coincidentally gets paired up with her for a Health project. He then becomes her only friend. The only person who cares to understand her.
Finding out that she has many secrets to hide, this one boy tries to help Peyton. This one boy saves her life, and tries to bring her out of her shell, making her do spontaneous things with him and it all turns into one hell of a ride.
This 'one boy' is Evan Shepards. The school's popular, ignorant, cocky jock on the Football team.
The Bad Boy who ended up Saving her Life.
