At 28 he's growing restless with the continued tours overseas and the death of my fellow soldiers has taken a lot out of me. Never married and no children. I've lived the last 10 years serving my country and nothing else. Until one day he receives a letter from an unknown person. What happens when these two write letters overseas.

How two people never get together, what's the reason, misunderstanding, misfortune, depicts through chats of the two.

This story is about a young girl trying to live her best life but everybody around her misunderstands her. Perfect doesn't really exist in her world and everyday she tries so hard to make sure she fits it in. All day long she smiles but all night long lonely tears fall from her tired eyes. Depressions creeps around her world every second but no one notices.

She's built a life on independence, keeping love at bay after a past that still haunts her. Her focus is on her career, the last thing she wants is a relationship. But when a guarded Navy officer enters her world, everything changes. He's not the type to believe in love, but something about her calls to him. Slowly, he begins to break down the walls she's carefully constructed. She resists, determined not to let anyone close enough to hurt her. Yet, as he quietly proves his feelings, she finds herself questioning everything she thought she knew about love. Can they navigate the storm between them, or will their hearts remain adrift, lost at sea?

Have you ever had a bad day, I mean a really bad day...maybe even a down period in your life. Well, this story is about the main character's trials and tribulations in his life that he had encountered. You yourself as the reader could possibly even relate to. Imagine certain chooses in your life that you may have picked not knowing the outcome of what would happen, but only what you thought from your own predictions, this is what the character was planning off of except that it didn't go according to plan...especially in the mind of a young man who began to make important life choices.

An interesting story filled with hardship, tears, love and patience.
