Arenika Morgan's life is thrown into a metaphorical washing machine when she is in a car that crashes on the way to a concert. She has been given a choice only 1 in every 4,000,000 is given, and she takes up the porposition. After making a new home for herself, she has to make another hard decision when given the chance to return to a mortal life, but this time as a guardian.
