Ana is human, or at least that is what everyone thinks she is. She despises the supernatural world and everything that comes along with it, so she runs away. She runs from who she is, and what she has done.
Daniel is the alpha of the Night Kings pack, has been for decades. And while his strength grows and his pack is one of the strongest, he craves for one thing, a mate. He passionately dedicates his whole life to the mate he awaits, if only his mate was as passionate about it.
Ana tries to get away from a world she hates only to be dragged in by an idea she can't stand, mates. Daniel refuses to let her go free and tries to show her the joys of the world of the supernatural. "Tries" being the keyword as the past decides to finally catch up with her.
Maybe, just maybe everything works out in the end. But luck has never been good for either of them.
