This is PART 2 of my Quinn / Mack series. 

PART 1 explores their backstory and is complete, but I needed to put PART 2 out there first because S6 still f*cks me up. You don't need to read / or know the backstory to (hopefully) enjoy PART 2. 

IMPORTANT:  the speech in italics that you see at the beginning of each chapter is a conversation from the past. (I'll publish PART 1 should anyone be interested)

Here's my shitty synopsis: (not my strong suit, sorry)

Harlyn 'Mack' McKenna and Peter Quinn have history. 
Like Quinn, Mack is ex-Black Ops and was the first female to ever be introduced to the SOG (Special Operations Group). 
Partners and lovers spanning a 10 year period, they were stationed at some of the world's most dangerous places. 
Until Mack was offered another posting, and it all fell apart and she left. 
The events of Berlin bring Mack back into Quinn's life. 
Will she be able to help him rebuild his shattered life? 
Can they both turn off old feelings while she's caring for him?

Set after 6x05. From that moment on the rest of the season was a massive clusterf*ck.

NOT a Quarrie fanfic (Carrie is in the story, but only briefly) I'm using my original female character because unlike Alex Gansa I actually want Quinn to have his happy ending.
