Fayr Aldaine is anything but what you'd call normal.
Fayr has always been peculiar, regardless of her parents trying to mold her into the perfect daughter they wished for, but never received. Fayr has a striking appearance, pale as snow, with flaming red hair and piercing, deep green eyes. She has thousands of tiny orange freckles dotting her delicate features. Fayr is a very intelligent young woman, although her parents brought her out of school at the age of 11 due to bullying. Fayr is a very quiet girl with an interesting look on things, she always has a witty comeback handy. She's very sarcastic with a dry sense of humor, and her nose is always buried somewhere in a book. Recently, Fayr has developed a reoccurring nightmare. She doesn't think anything of it until the nightmare comes to life-
And another dream occurs, but this time it's different. A masked man enters her house in the dead of the night searching for her. Thinking only of her family, she runs from home to keep them safe and finds herself lost in the deep woods on the mountainside. She bumps into a mysterious boy named Phoenix Coax, a broken 18 year old who can't seem to keep anyone close. After almost killing each other, they instead decide to befriend each other and protect each other in the dangers of the mountains.
