Summary:

It's been four months since Virvanna Morellio walked out the door of St. Augustus Catholic High School for the last time. Now, it's revamp time. Though she previously thought she had surpassed her metamorphosis, Virvanna realizes she still has a lot of growing to do while stuck inside the Chrysalis.

Our Lady Justice, the inner city school on the wrong end of town, is Virvanna's new adventure. As the only school willing to take such a 'fugitive', it's filled with it's own nuisances and trouble makers. This is new territory.

On day one, she is nicknamed 'Fools Gold', for being the bratty black girl with money back home. Virvanna retreats to emotional solidarity, attempting to shut out everyone around her. But one trouble maker in particular, doesn't let her hide away so easily.

This story is the second book in the Metamorphosis series. Due to the time jump and new setting, IT CAN BE READ AS A STAND ALONE NOVEL! I recommend this book more because I wrote it with a better idea of where it is going and a more mature literary imagination. Each book in the series is a new adventure, connected
