This is the story about a young man and his journey to California after accepting a new job offer. During a crazy turn of events, his flight gets delayed and he runs into a young lady at a coffee shop inside the terminal. After a short and funny altercation, they soon find out that their flight is delayed to late the next day. They decide to go to lunch together and they spends the next few hours talking about life, politics and their past. However all isn't as cozy as it seems and they soon find out that they have a dark trait in common.

I tear up just a little as he speaks, I don't know the last time I cried happy tears. I bring my hands up to cup his cheeks, resting my forehead against his. "No matter how much I push, I don't mean it. Please don't give up on me." My words seem to relieve him in some way as I feel his shoulders relax. "Even when I'm gone, I'll be by your side, forever."
