~completed~ "She drew with the colored pencils even though the only thing in her brain was a blank page. She wanted everybody to believe that she was as vibrant as her art. I was a dead soul in the body of a youth. I would have cried if I was strong enough, but I was not... We both knew the pain too well. She was an anomaly and I was a reject. We may seem desperate for something more, but we both want a future. She wondered if she would ever find true happiness again. I wondered if anyone would accept me for who I truly was."

I don't know how it happened. One minute, I was in my room looking up at the ceiling, choking on my tears. The next, I was tracing the cuts on my arm with a razor I found under my bed trying to ease the pain I felt inside. It didn't work. And the next, I was looking down the bridge I knew I was going to jump off from one day. I was trying to do that. But I couldn't. I couldn't jump. I was a coward. I was scared. I was alone. I turned around and walked away. There was war raging in me everyday. I needed peace. Even I knew that. Depression and Anxiety were eating me from the inside out. Choking me with their tight grips of hate, sadness, anger and despair. I turned back to look at the bridge. I'll be back. I just have to gather courage. If my dad could do it, so could i. . . . Jenny McCarthy wants to die. She's had enough of the pain, anger and the voices in her head that just won't stop talking. She's was ready to leave it all but she's didn't had the courage to do that but when she loses the last person in her life, that was the last straw. But then she meets Jake Parker. A boy who has a whole other perspective of the world than she does. This is a story of unconditional love, revival, forgiveness and redemption. . . . 37 parts Complete

Fresh into her last semester of high school, Len is looking forward to three things: spending time with her recent close-friend-turned-girlfriend, completing a summer road trip with her brother Brendon, and finally, getting the hell out of her hometown, to an out-of-state college where she'll be able to reinvent herself as whoever she would be if her Catholic mom wasn't always breathing down her neck. But then Brendon commits suicide, leaving behind a cell phone with a series of messages meant for Len alone. To unlock the messages, and find whatever Brendon wanted her to find, Len must confront painful memories - and painful truths about herself. *DO NOT READ if you are triggered by suicide or suicidal ideation* (This is a very very very rough draft.)
