The Quarterback's Girl
I'm running, my dress bunched up in my fists. But I'm not running for my life I'm running for his, and when I see him I stop. There is one bulky man on either side of him, they have their arms linking his, he's kneeling in front of someone with raven black hair. As we get closer, I see his pain in the way he's holding himself, his brown hair is clouding his face. Something catches in my throat as I see him bent forward, almost looking limp. The panic is slowly eating me up on the inside. 'Please lift your head, let me see your eyes' I pray inside my head. He can't be gone. It's almost like he hears my prayers as he looks up, his blue eyes as deep as the ocean depths, knocks the breath out of me as per usual. I close my eyes and thank God for keeping him alive. The right side of his jaw is all purple and red. A cut on the other side of his face, which is oozing with the red liquid. He suddenly looks past the black haired male to look at us, reassurance washing over his features. It's when he sees me that his eyes widen, and the panic grows by the second. He goes from a slump to picking himself upright. He's hurt. Badly. The black haired man spins around as we walk closer in their direction. All 6 of us stop as I catch a glimpse of the face. A deadly grin appears on his wicked face. "Boys, I've been waiting for you" He shouts loud and clear. "And you brought the girl" * Crescent Bay Dawson was once popular but now she lives in the shadow of her twin brother. The only person who notices her is the cocky, egotistic, Star Quarterback of the school; Elliott Grayson. Can Elliott charm her into falling for him or will she finally win the heart of her childhood crush? #2 in humor - 2nd February 2018 #5 in teen fiction - 6th November 2017 Honestly if you wanna laugh this book will make you laugh cause that's what I'm all about!

I Remember
I decided to write this memoir for my kids. Kalina, Braylon and Bryce. I wanted them to know how I grew up and what all happened when I was a child. Maybe one day they can sit down and read this little book and remember MOMMA. I want to also apologize if this memoir offends any family member, every one has their memories of events in their lives. Let me tell mines as I lived them and as they were told to me by other family members during my lifetime. This book is filled with traumatic yet funny memories of my upbringing. It's a tell all from what I went through, in my eyes not anyone else's. Hope you enjoy reading this as I've enjoyed writing it. It's not meant to seek pity, instead it's written to shine light on the real problems of society. poverty, single moms, the damage due to drugs, incest, abuse and most of all, origins of brokenness. We all have a story to tell, mine is of survival. It didn't happened to me it happened for my good. God is good!! Be blessed.

I wrote this years ago; yt is very very cringy in my opinion. "How are you not afraid of me" Leo said while placing his arm on the locker only inches away from Aurora's face. "Maybe because you are a little bitch" Oh shit I know that I'm in trouble.. Not only because I just insulted the school "prince" or so I say "shit god", calling any guy a bitch makes their minds snap. As Aurora tries to walk away while 'Shit god' is still in shock, he pins pulls Aurora's wrist and pins her towards the lockers. "What did you just say to me?" Oh boy he is beyond serious... Aurora is just a average girl that enjoys ballet. And also a girl that doesn't know when to shut up.. Her normal life has turned into an adventure when she slaps the schools "prince" for "being a shithead". Will she act crazy in parties? Will she get into nasty fights? Will someone save her?
