The Trancendents are those that are the most mentally evolved. They have abilities, mind powers. Mara is the most advanced Trancendent. She has an ability that is unheard of, feared even, the ability to cause pain. Because of this she is being hunted by so called Demons who want to use her powers to take over the Normals, those without abilities. Will she be able to survive the mission? Will she let her own insecurities get in the way? Or will her new found love with the mysterious Julian get in her way? ~~"You lost Control during the fight. The Demons stopped fighting us once you began Obliterating them, but you didn't stop. I think you couldn't. You killed them. All of them."

Mara Vale has always believed that there's more to life than just surviving-and now she's about to prove it. After creating the groundbreaking Toro Gate, a device that opens portals across dimensions, she stumbles upon a shocking discovery: a way to achieve immortality by resonating in a zero-energy field. But there's a catch-this process strips away everything that makes you you and leaves you in a void of nothingness. As Mara races against time to solve the paradox of immortality, she must confront the consequences of her choices. Can she overcome the personal cost of eternal life, or will the temptation of limitless power spiral into a chaotic struggle for humanity itself? The deeper she digs, the more she realizes that immortality isn't just a gift-it's a curse that could unravel the very fabric of existence. In a world where nothing is what it seems, can Mara find a way to preserve both life and soul? Or will her journey become the key to her undoing?
