Wulv, Chern, and Tir all come from very different lifestyles. Despite that, they end up meeting and traveling together.

Tir, a mage with some skill in alchemy, is oddly explosive yet shy. She comes from a wealthy family, but decided to give up being a locked up maiden to give magic a shot. She soon discovered her natural skill with healing and defensive magics, slowly learning about the rest of the types.

Wulv, a poor mercenary, is just trying to get some coins. He is kind and warm, but can sometimes be intimidating. Wulv is known as Wulv the Dead, due to rumors about his accomplishments. He is very skilled with both two-handed and one-handed weapons, but prefers two-handed. He ends up saving most of the people he meets.

Lastly, Chern is a bored alchemist, trying to figure things out. He is a rather loud, annoying person, but everyone realizes that he means the best for his friends. Chern comes from an unknown background, not yet comfortable with telling anyone, even his best friend, Wulv, about his past. He tends to experiment a lot with potions, ocassionally (and accidentally) raising the dead.

The Alchemist at Hell's Gates

48 parts Complete

The Alchemist is considered the most useless of all the 5 classes offered in the Virtual World of 'Hell's Gates'(Warrior, Archer, Mage, Cleric, and Alchemist). Having little to no Combat Skills, and relying on real-world Chemistry Knowledge (a Lost art of sorts,) to make anything more than the most basic potions, they are very rarely seen past the first or second level, because most people change their class after seeing its uselessness. Still, this class allows Sam to spread her literal and proverbial wings as a Chemist and Inventor in a world where such a skill set is actually very valuable! Of course, with the rarity and value of their skills comes a plethora of problems, and most don't last very long at all, but Sam is determined, damn it! Hopefully, being stubborn and lucky in equal portions will be enough to survive and thrive in the world of Hell's Gates? (((Complete!!! Perhaps there'll be a Book Two if this gets enough attention???)))
