The prompt "In A Perfect World..." is given to 148 students over the course of September Sixth. The prompt is written down and rubbished by half the students, while the other seventy five complete a world without cancer and war. The teacher reads all the papers, smiling and frowning. As the end of the stacks draws near, the last three papers are written by the humble main characters that included illness and fascism in their ideals worlds. As the teacher reads and re-reads the lengthy papers, the three students live their lives in accordance to their deaths. Told in alternating chapters between the papers and the peers, We Are Human. tells the tales of three kids that long to never grow old while trying to live before dying.
