The new generation of Riders have risen in Alagaësia, and the kingdom is flourishing under the rule of Queen Nasuada. Eragon has built the new fort with the help of the elves, and to the surprise and confusion of many, he has a daughter, for which the dragon Eridor hatched. In another part of Alagaësia, (Dras-Leona, to be specific,) a girl has an inexplicable fascination with an oak tree near the city, by the creek-with-no-name. Fate has an odd and cruel sense of humor, and paths often wander and get entangled with eachother in strange ways, so read on and see where these paths will lead, be it to death or adventure. Or both.

A Kind of Magic
~The Wattys 2025 Shortlist~ ~The Ambys 2025 Grand Favourite~ ~ONC 2024 Honourable Mention~ ~~~ Alaric, the King of Silmarea, recently married to his beloved husband, needs an heir of his own blood to secure the throne. With the help of Emrys, his court magician and best friend, he recalls his youthful escapades and discovers a daughter he once had with a woman he had loved in The World Beyond The Stones (our world). He sends an unlikely but trusted trio on a quest to find her and bring her home-- a brooding dragon shifter and Highlander who owes him a favor, a dashing elf whom he loves like the son he never had, and a loyal, kindhearted dwarf, the elf's best friend. Alaric, the last scion of the old gods, weary of ruling the country and ready to retire and enjoy his love life, doesn't know that this quest will bring much more than he ever bargained for, setting in motion events plotted by the destiny that will challenge his kingdom and legacy.Concluida
The First Dragon Riders
This is a prequel to the Inheritance Cycle. This is how the first Dragon Riders came to be and how they change to help Alagaesia from those who wish to harm it. Once the truce between dragons and elves is made the dragons gave the elves three eggs, once they hatched the new riders must train to become the heroes and protectors Eragon (the original one not Eragon Brom's son) expects them to be, but then the new queen Dellanir forbids dragon riders to enter the elves' forests, making it a little more difficult. Afterwards Eragon appoints the Rider's new leader and leaves with another rider to explore other lands beyond the Edda River. Winner of the TR Awards in the Group 3 (1k views) categoryConcluida
Erys: An Eragon Fanfiction - (Under Editing)
In the time Eragon has been absent from Alagaësia, the riders have fallen to vices. Few have been able to raise to fulfill the roles the riders had originally been given, and a dark sect-reminiscent of the Foresworn-has risen to power. The cities and villages under their control live in fear, and those not already sworn to them are too weak to fight. Erys is a young girl living a simple village life. When men attack the village, her father disguises her as a young boy and makes her swear never to reveal her identity. When the marauders discover her, they take her and the other women and children hostage. Erys struggles to survive. Hiding her identity is almost impossible, and once they get her to the slave market, she would be trapped forever, and her true identity discovered. She plans her escape every night but has no idea where to go or who to trust. Her only sure plan of action is to free her mother, who has disappeared along with the other women captured the night of the attack. But first she has to escape her captors. And they have a dark secret and an even darker motive. One that would surely wreak havoc if no one stops them. Disclaimer! I do own Alagäesia. The world and this particular concept of dragon riders belong to Christopher Paoplini. The original characters, however, as well as this plot, belong to me.Concluida![Sja Fram [Inheritance Cycle | Eragon Fanfiction]](https://img.wattpad.com/cover/54968716-256-k119244.jpg)
Sja Fram [Inheritance Cycle | Eragon Fanfiction]
My name is Umaroth Ajikson. My father and sister died in a fire, my mother died shortly afterwards. I've been living in the Spine since shortly after that. However, one day I saved someone from dying by a bear. This person was travelling with another person and a dragon. My life just got a whole lot more interesting. I joined the trio on their travels with my trusty stallion, Istal. Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, must take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders. Joined by Brom, an old storyteller who isn't who he says he is, and myself, someone who has a lot of bad luck, all of us must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Together we must face enemies and get through the battles surround us. I've been sucked into an adventure that wasn't meant to be mine, but now that I'm here, I'm not leaving Eragon, Brom and Saphira to their fate. Plus, the purple dragon in my dreams says we're going to meet soon. Who am I to deny that? This is my story, and remember; when everything seems dark sja fram, look forward.Concluida
Destiny (Volume I: Shur'tugalar)
Eragon was once an orphan who lived on a farm, didn't know who his father was, and had never stepped foot outside of Palancar Valley. But when a blue stone appeared before him in the Spine, hatching a baby dragon, everything changed. Now, he is known as Eragon Shadeslayer, son of Brom and one of the last remaining Riders. He and his dragon, Saphira Bjartskular, have journeyed across the Empire: facing countless foes, winning many battles, and beating impossible odds. They know they are the ONLY ones who can free Alagaësia from the tyrannical King Galbatorix's rule - or are they? When a mysterious girl named Niaomi arrives at the Varden, she brings with her new hope, but also new dangers. For though she and her allies have great powers, Galbatorix will stop at nothing to capture them. And when the third dragon egg hatches, will the newcomers' history hold the key to freedom for the enslaved "Shur'tugalar"? In the first volume of an epic tale, the Riders will be forced to confront spies, thwart assassination attempts, and uncover their pasts. But even though the Varden's skill grows, the coming battle will require all of their strength. For the black king still possesses an unmatched power that even the gods would be hard-pressed to defeat. *see A/N for the full book's trailer* [COMPLETED: readable though in editing] - Chapter Status: last edited 12/3/15 • Edited: #1-#7 • In Progress: - • Unedited: #8-#10 "Destiny (Volume II: Indlvarn)" has been posted and is currently in progress. ~~~~~ Posted: Aug. 12, 2012 ~ All characters, settings, and events referenced from the Inheritance Cycle in "Destiny" and all other related works are owned by Christopher Paolini. Shadow of a Shade
Addiane found her life to be comfortable enough. She may not have known her family, but she was fed and taken care of by those she lived with. She rarely feared for her life, and she was being taught valuable life lessons by those around her. Of course, training to be a Dragon Rider under the Shadeslayer himself, the first proper Rider in a long time, was a major bonus. Addiane wouldn't have thought she'd ever want to leave their little haven. Her curiosity simply got the better of her when Eragon's cousin made a plea for assistance, describing terrifying marauders and bowmen whose aim had been blessed by gods. And of course there was the man who rode the red dragon. Addiane had to know more about him, and about what was going on in the mountains that Eragon Shadeslayer had once called home. She really didn't know what she was getting into. *I DON'T OWN THE RANGERS APPRENTICE SERIES/ACCOMPANYING BOOKS OR THE INHERITANCE CYCLE, I JUST REALLY LOOK UP TO JOHN FLANAGAN AND CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI*Concluida

Nagan | Broken Time Series: Book One
Who knew what would happen after stealing some bread from a street stall? Certainly not Nagan. Nothing out of the ordinary should have happened, considering stealing food to survive was the norm. But fate, destiny, karma, whatever you wanted to call it, had a funny way of showing mercy. Nagan didn't know what to think when a baby dragon dropped in front of him. Even stranger, it was there to deliver an invitation. Carvolier was calling to him, as was a larger-than-life destiny. Like father, like son, after all. Yet something darker seeped through the seams as his years in Carvolier went on. Only time knew what awaited him. The Name of Names
Being a Rider is not skill. It is not spells and sparring and flight. It is becoming a piece of a much bigger chess board, fighting against the dark while remaining in the light. And when darker powers start to grow, it is about sacrifice and giving every ounce of yourself to prevent it from taking over our world. ~cover by Ashulman19Concluida
