The new generation of Riders have risen in Alagaësia, and the kingdom is flourishing under the rule of Queen Nasuada. Eragon has built the new fort with the help of the elves, and to the surprise and confusion of many, he has a daughter, for which the dragon Eridor hatched. In another part of Alagaësia, (Dras-Leona, to be specific,) a girl has an inexplicable fascination with an oak tree near the city, by the creek-with-no-name. Fate has an odd and cruel sense of humor, and paths often wander and get entangled with eachother in strange ways, so read on and see where these paths will lead, be it to death or adventure. Or both.

Dragon Riders A New Era
Eragon's time is over. In his place, a new order of Riders protect the world from threats. With Eragon and Alagaesia's disappearance, the ancient enemies of the Dragons rise from the shadows. With orders from the council, a young but experienced rider escorts a new generation of riders to the fortress for training. What begins as a series of training sessions soon develops into the greatest adventure they have ever had. This is my first story i've uploaded as well as the longest story i have ever wrote. Erys: An Eragon Fanfiction - (Under Editing)
In the time Eragon has been absent from Alagaësia, the riders have fallen to vices. Few have been able to raise to fulfill the roles the riders had originally been given, and a dark sect-reminiscent of the Foresworn-has risen to power. The cities and villages under their control live in fear, and those not already sworn to them are too weak to fight. Erys is a young girl living a simple village life. When men attack the village, her father disguises her as a young boy and makes her swear never to reveal her identity. When the marauders discover her, they take her and the other women and children hostage. Erys struggles to survive. Hiding her identity is almost impossible, and once they get her to the slave market, she would be trapped forever, and her true identity discovered. She plans her escape every night but has no idea where to go or who to trust. Her only sure plan of action is to free her mother, who has disappeared along with the other women captured the night of the attack. But first she has to escape her captors. And they have a dark secret and an even darker motive. One that would surely wreak havoc if no one stops them. Disclaimer! I do own Alagäesia. The First Dragon Riders
This is a prequel to the Inheritance Cycle. This is how the first Dragon Riders came to be and how they change to help Alagaesia from those who wish to harm it. Once the truce between dragons and elves is made the dragons gave the elves three eggs, once they hatched the new riders must train to become the heroes and protectors Eragon (the original one not Eragon Brom's son) expects them to be, but then the new queen Dellanir forbids dragon riders to enter the elves' forests, making it a little more difficult.
