Evelyn and her family move away to New York right before high school. Leaving behind their home, childhood town, and the Andersons, more importantly Ethan. The guy her and her brother grew up with. After unexpected events, Evelyn and her family move back to their true home. Evelyn has always been a fiesty and sarcastic girl. Maybe not popular- but she was known around school. She didn't like much attention so she stayed in the back of the crowd, with her own friends. Ethan on the other hand, was always the center of attention- whether he liked it or not. On the schools Football and Soccer team, giving him no choice. He was definitely a player, at least when he chooses to be. Noah and Ethan have been best friends from the start. Evelyn, on the other hand. never really got along with Ethan. Always fighting. Always pulling pranks on each other. Always getting one another in trouble. When Evelyn and her family return, will her relationship with Ethan change into something greater? Or will it stay the same, and possibly get worse?

"I can't write like this," I pointed out. "Is this all you care about?" Ryan asked. I shrugged. "Not this specifically, but yeah, I care about my grades." Ryan smirked. I swallowed nervously but refused to break my stoic expression. He leaned closer to me, my heart pounding so hard against my chest it felt like it might break out and fall on the table between us. His mouth was right by my ear, and I could feel his warm breath when he spoke which sent shivers down my spine. "Well, aren't you a little a scholar?" *** The only things Alex Moris ever cared about were his grades and his sister. However, when the boy his sister likes, Ryan Smithe, makes things complicated and causes him to feel things he's never felt before, Alex realizes that, maybe, there's more important things in life than grades and scholarships.
